Guiding Questions: Psalms 4

This is part of the Tanakh Yomi Project.

  1. Who is the one who calls (Psalms 4:2) — and how does he refer to Divinity: as all powerful, regnant, or with some other adjectivation?
  2. To whom is Psalms 4:3 addressed?
  3. What is the admonition addressed to the “evil-doers” in Psalms 4:5-6?
  4. What is the meaning of “an offering of justice”?
  5. Would Psalms 4:8-9 indicate that the tefillah has been answered and answered fully?
