Guiding Questions: Isaiah 12

  1. Isaiah 12:2 has found its way into the liturgy. Where is it found?
  2. What is Zimrat Yah? Is it a “song” or is it a weapon?
  3. Would Isaiah 12:6 indicate the prophetic expectation that the Divine is within or close to Israel — or should it be understood in some other fashion? Simply put — what is “Kedosh Yisrael”?
