Exploring Judaism and the Crisis in Israel

October 9th, 2023

In the two years since we launched, Exploring Judaism has significantly impacted the Conservative/Masorti presence on the internet. We have worked to provide content that speaks to our community’s religious ideals and worldview as we endeavored to develop a safe space free of overt and implied political messaging.

As the horror in Israel and Gaza unfolds, we have decided to provide resources for our community that focus on the people affected, both there and abroad. Look to Exploring Judaism for resources such as traditional and contemporary Jewish responses to war, trauma, and violence. It is our aim to share prayers and meditations for communities and individuals to help guide us to light during dark times.

May the One who heard the prayers of Yitzhak and Yishmael bring peace and consolation.
